LMP:29/01/2016 , GA by LMP 8wk 4days, gestational sac seen, single yolk sac seen , fetal pole/cardiac activity not seen. parameter measurement GS age GS 5.8mm 5wk 2days Please advice me should we wait.because concern doctor of ultra radiologist said miscarriage. Please help me.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. From the ultrasound report, it is indicating that pregnancy has taken place. But as per you LMP, the gestational age should have been 8 weeks +. As per ultrasound report, it is stating that it is about 5 weeks +, indicating pregnancy has not picked up satisfactorily. Normally, by 6 to 8 weeks, fetal pole is visible and cardiac activity is seen. Since it is not detected, it states the pregnancy is not a viable one and may land up in miscarriage. Kindly consult Gynecologist at the earliest with the report for further advise and management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
